Which is why we provide as much as we are capable to ensure the kids success. We aim to provide an environment that allows your child to grow, learn about themselves, build confidence and competence, as well as be apart of a community/team.
Family and Friends
Vinland Athletics is a community. A perk of that is you are welcome to share in the Academy with your family and friends. The more we put in, the more we all get out of it.
Equipment
Have basketballs, basketball hoops from 5.5 feet up to 7.5 feet, cones, dumbbells, pads, first aid kid, water, chibs (food), and more for the kids to help.
Library
Provide books to help to learn,
Journals to help keep track.
Basketball Bucks
Kids every week through jobs, feats of strength/skill/intelligence earn basketball bucks which are then used for prizes. Prizes range from fun, to educational, as well as sports items. Some of the jobs include conflict manager, janitor, food server, hydration specialist.
Jensen Ranch
During the school year pick up from Jensen Elementary School is available. Coach will walk together with the kids from the school to the park for the basketball academy.
