Our Work
Is a journey. A road of self discovery. Growing within basketball to succeed outside of it.

"Coach Steve was my personal basketball trainer throughout my four years of high school basketball. Beyond honing my on-court skills with game-specific drills, Steve was instrumental in my physical and mental development. We worked out together in the gym, engaged in vital stretching exercises, and even went on hikes with training weights. More than just a coach, Steve has been a mentor and a trusted friend. He is uplifting and positive, offering constructive criticism that leaves you feeling like a better player after every session. I wholeheartedly recommend Coach Steve to any player, whether novice or seasoned; he will push you to exceed your limits and elevate your game."

"Coach Steve has been one of the most impactful mentors in my life. On the court he knows the importance of discipline, and off the court, knows not to take anything for granted. Steve has not only taught me to be as humble as I am skilled, but he has also been a role model for who to be a respectful, caring person. Every game, award, scholarship I've had the past few years, Steve has been there to celebrate my accomplishments along the way. There's always something to improve on, and Steve has taught me that more than anybody."

"When I started training under Coach Steve he asked me to list my strengths and weaknesses. I would always tell him I was a selfless player, but I had trouble figuring out when to take my shots and create my own opportunities in game. My morals outside of basketball always stopped me from playing my best and being aggressive like many of my teammates, so I always felt discouraged because it seemed like my peers were excelling while I was not. One day after a training session with Coach Steve, I remember saying how frustrated I was that I put all this work in outside of practice and games, and yet I could still never see results when it counted. Coach Steve told me something I never knew i needed to hear; he said, "Being "humble" or "selfless" during the game of basketball is insulting all the hard work and dedication you're putting into the game, be selfish and honor those long hours of work you put in." It's times like these that you can tell he puts in work and takes the time to get to know his players. Other people may not understand it, but Coach always made sure his advice spoke to my troubles. Coach Steve helped me a ton with my physical skills but the impact he had on my mental game was so genuine and all the hours of patience he had for my progress will always be greatly appreciated."
